Is there anything Manga/Anime have taught you?
In every story there's a message like "believe in yourself" or "there is something like true love".
Do you want to tell me how the Japanese stories influenced your live?
I love the message "live your dreams". In Germany, the opening of Digimon Adventure is "Leb deinen Traum", still one of my favorite openings ever! *__*
(Has the same music like the original version "Butterfly".)
Like everyone, I have dreams. Some are a bit unrealistic but some are reachable like becoming a good artist! Yeah, I dreamed of being a popular artists since I was a child and started to draw Manga! >//////<
And one certain dream was more than utopistic: I wanted to visit a dubbing studio, cause I was so fascinated of the German voice actors and I wanted to meet them one day. And I dreamed a bit of being a voice actor myself...
But as a child it was impossible cause I lived in a small town, far away from any studio.
This changed when moving to Berlin, where many films and shows got dubbed.
So I tried to contact the studios and asked for a visit but many studios declined.
But I didn't give up and tried asking other studios.
Until one studio let me visit them!! It was like a dream! 10 years ago, this thought only existed in my crazy mind and now it's reality! *__*
And it even got better: When the directress let me dubbing for a try, she was delighted and wants to keep contact with me! And I was like... OMG!!
I'm really thankful for this great opportunity and the new experience I gained!
What I wanted to say: Yes, dreams
can come true, if you don't forget them and don't give up!

Yeah, in my case I was lucky too, but it also was my hardheadedness. I also could have given up after the first rejection, but I didn't.
So, what about you?^^
