Japan Trip Diary Day 1

One of my dreams just came true:
I am in Tokyo right now! *__*
A little holiday for about 10 days!

If you are interested, I will share my impressions with you daily.
I visit Japan with in a group with a great tour leader who likes Manga/Anime herself! x3
I still can't realize it, but seeing all those Japanese signs and listening to the language, I should! >///<

After an 11-hours flight we arrived in Tokyo. While landing, I even saw the Mt. Fuji. I just wanted to have a shower and storage my suitecase in our hostel. We stay in Ryogoku which looks pretty nice.
For lunch our group went to a "fast food" store and I tried Udon noodles which I really liked!
Later we visited Shinjuku, a part of the city I know from some Anime. On the Shinjuku City Hall, we had an amazing view over the city. I was surprised that there hardly are any rubbish bins and the sun went down so fast at 4 p.m. already!
I decided to go shopping in the evening and so I bought some art supplies which are much cheaper than buying them imported in Germany of course. We also visited a store for Manga/Anime merchandise and it was huge! In that Mangs store, there even were some original art pieces of Mangaka! Wow! *__*
And I tried the Gachapon automat, the automat with capsules inside!
My first try was a little key chain with Card Captor Sakura's wand in key form!^^
Tokyo is very huge and crowded, but so impressive!

Because of the huge difference of the time zones (8 hours), I gotta sleep soon. Tomorrow's plan is visiting Comiket!
