No longer active here
Hello to everyone, as you already know, DeviantArt moves into a direction with AI, I cannot support. I canceled my Core subscription and I won't upload new art here. I'm really sad, because dA was part of my life for 14 years, and I used it as my portfolio. Now that many deviations of mine are marked as "mature content" for not logged in users, I can't use it as portfolio anymore. I will make up my mind later, whether I will leave my dA as archive or deactivating my account completely. I will move to ArtStation for my portfolio: https://www.artstation.com/yennivu For more sketches and WIPs and some random stuff, feel free to follow my Instagram and Twitter: www.instagram.com/yennivu/ twitter.com/yenni_vu Thank you for almost 10K followers here. This was the only platform I ever felt seen. ♥ Yenni
Visit me at the DoKomi 2022! :D
Hello everyone! After 3 years, I finally attend the DoKomi again! :D The con is next weekend on 4th and 5th June. My booth number is H78 in hall 3! You can find me here: I will have several prints, original pieces, note pads, charms and some more merchandise!^^ I hope I will see some of you! ♥ I'll have some plans for near future and if everything works out, I'm planning to do my art semi-professionally. I will attend some more conventions if possible to sell more merch. :) Stay tuned! ♥
Drawing History 2008 - 2019
Hello everyone,
since this decade is going to end soon, I made a summery of my art from 2008 - 2019. In 2008, I started with uploading my art on art and social media sites.
I put my favorite drawing for each year, so it might look like I haven't improved much. And in the years 2016 and 2017 I almost haven't drawn at all.:(
However, I'm glad I still stayed loyal to my hobby although there were many changes in this decade!
I'm proud of myself that I tried different drawing tools and even learned digital art! :D
Onwards to 2020!! :)
Random thoughts of being student vs. full-time job
Hello everyone,
I think the October was kinda hard for me. Seeing many artists who completed the "Inktober" vs. me, who almost haven't touched a pencil the whole month.
Work was quite exhausting and weekends too short. Plus, shorter days now are not really motivating...
I really envy people who have more freetime and miss my own time, when I went to university and drew the rest of the day.
But I often only remember the good sites of being a student and forget about the bad sites. The times, when I had less money (although I never had to starve or something like that!), the time I lived from semester to semester and didn't know what will come
